Marion Economic Development can be your conduit to the KANSASWORKS workforce system, administered by the Kansas Department of Commerce.  This system links businesses, job seekers, educational institutions, and training providers to ensure the state’s workforce is equipped to meet business and industry needs.  The nearest workforce center that operates full time is Hutchinson (with part-time satellite offices in Newton and McPherson), and connects businesses with job seekers in the area.  Employee recruitment services offered at the centers include assessment, testing, screening, job development, and job placement.
